School Nurse asked for DD's Birth Certificate??

Any idea why the school needs it?
Has anyone had to give their childs birth certificate to the school.
They want to make a copy of the original themselves, they will not take a
copy from me.?????

  • The schools here make their own copy so they can stamp it to say "copy made from verified original in theis office "and then the date.

  • Usually schools require the birth certificate to make sure the child is legal. My kids schools have ALWAYS asked for a copy.
