When you fix yourself up, do you fix your hair first and then makeup aftewards or vice versa?

And you should be dressed to what you are going to wear out before you do any of the above right?

LOL I've never been the dress up type of girl and I'm trying to be more girly on our wedding anniversary. I'm thinking I should be dressed first so my hair won't get messed up, but knowing me, I'd prob drop makeup on my outfit since I can be very clumsy. Arggh! I think the girly gene skipped me. Help ladies!

  • I put my shirt on before I do my hair so it won't get messed up and start my hair first, blow dry and flat iron, and half way through I'll stop and do at least my foundation before I do the layers in the front of my hair that will be in my way and get messed up again. Then I'll finish my hair and then do my eyes and lips so they are freshly done before we leave.

  • I always put my makeup on, then do my hair, and then get dressed. I don't like to get makeup and hairspray and stuff on my clothes.

  • now I can't even think..I think I do my make up first then hair. As long as your outfit won't mess up your hair, yea be dressed before you fix your hair. Have a fun anniversary.

  • I do my makeup while my hair is still in a towel, that way it's out of my face. Then I dry and flat-iron my hair, THEN get dressed. I'm waaaay too clumsy to risk getting makeup or hair products on my outfit. If you need to put on our outfit beforehand to avoid messing up your hair or getting makeup on your collar, you could always put on a robe over the outfit (IF and only if it won't wrinkle), or you could use a sheet and clothespin as a make-shift cover deal like they use at hair salons to protect your clothes.

  • I do my makeup, then hair, then get dressed. Even if it's a normal day or I am going somewhere nice. If it's really hot though, I'll do my hair first then my makeup because it will melt off! LOL

  • I do my make up then get dressed then do my hair I read somewhere that hairspray helps your makeup stay in place longer so I do it that way

  • I put my hair back in a head band then I do my make-up then fix my hair.
