how can thongs cause infections?

  • They can cause infections even if you are wearing clean all the time. Just depends on pH and other things that come into play with CM. The amount of air the vagina is exposed to is very important in determining how healthy it is. If you're wearing a thong that's too tight or small, or especially dirty, you'll regret it! Lots of other reasons why you could get an infection from wearing any kind of underwear that goes in your butt crack!! If you can imagine!
    You should definitely wear lose fitting breatheable undies if you think you have any kind of infection, be it UTI, BI, VD or any junk like that. And of course talk to your GYNO!!

  • I go commando or wear a thong or g-string. Never a UTI, lol. I think the only way underwear can cause an infection is if you're wearinf nasty ass dirty ones or something...other than that how could they?
