  • Nope, we go to a credit union and ONLY have a savings account ..we do this on purpose so we do not overdraft. We have raked up overdraft charges on two different banks over the, we owe $900 and the other is $1200.

  • Yeah I have 3 checking accounts... 2 at one bank (one personal and on business account) and another at another bank. Then I have 3 savings (one is my sons) and I have money market account. LOL... Yeah thats alot. But I have different accounts for my budget and limits me what I can spend each month. I have a HUGE shopping addiction .. and this helps me control it.

  • We have 3 savings accounts and 6 checking accounts. Odd, but it works for us.

  • We each have 3 accounts, a money market, a savings and a checking. Our credit union starts out by giving you a savings account, you can then add additional accounts through their online services. We each have three because we keep our finances mainly separate. My partner and I both have jobs, I give him half my income to pay bills and the other half is mine to save or send on groceries and stuff. This works well for us because we have disagreements on where the money should go (I am a saver, he is a spender). I don't understand having money in different banks unless you can get a really great rate at one or the other. But we have a credit union, so we generally have the best rates.
