  • You can set up a cool mist humidifier. Prop baby up in a swing to sleep, laying flat down makes congestion worse.

  • My 6 mo. old DD just got over it....heres what we did and got thru it great.
    1. Menthol baths in morning and nite to loosen congestion. Sucked nose while soaking in the tub. A lot of crap comes out when its loose.
    2. Baby vicks on chest and feet then PJs on right away.
    3. Baby saline nose spray at every dipaer change, then suck again.
    4. Triaminic sells a little mini vapor fan that you can find by the baby cold meds and that helped tremendously. whenever she took her nap either me or daddy would hold her and let the fan blow over her and it really cleared things up.
    5. Just keep him cozy and give it about a week and he will start getting better. good luck.
