If an orange is orange, why isn't a lime called a green or a lemon called a yellow?

    what is the fun of the day when you are not running off of 3 hours of sleep, and stressed to the max? makes for a very boring day.

  • It's a language thing; in Spanish the names for the fruits and colors are different.

    Also, about strawberries... They actually DO use straw to keep the frost off the blossoms because they bloom so early in the spring. So, that might be exactly how they got their name.

  • I seriously tried last night to come up with some off the wall questions...and I couldn't think of any..where the hell do you come up with these? do you have a special book? some of them are freakin funny as hell....especially the animal cracker one...I couldn't stop laughing..
