I am sooo gassy and constipated this pregnancy.. i am 6 weeks.with my son i was sick this time ive only thrown up oce.. i get a lil queasy at time but not nearly as bad but i am super constipated.. i see the doc on march 3rd so i will ask for something thne but until then is there anything i can do?

  • natural laxitives lol grapes yogurt plums ect. that will fix you with out hurting baby

  • You can also try applesauce. Apples have an enzyme that helps to "move things along" plus the applesauce has fiber which will also help.

  • Ive had that same problem. I found that drinking fluids helps to ward off constipation. That doesn't mean you have to drink water all the time, just a good amount of fluids. i bought some Metamucil and my prenatal vitamin has a stool softner built into the pill. doing some phyisical activity such as walking or moving around. You want to stay on top of it because constipation can lead to hemroids.

  • try natural remedies first, cuz it's best for baby; especially in the first trimester.
    Eat lots of fruits and veggies, and try a fiber supplement. like something that mixes in your drinks or food, with no taste.

  • Oh, and drink at least 2 liters of water a day. When you reach the second trimester drink at least 3 liters, and the 3rd trimester: 4 liters. Not only will it help constipation, but it will help you to feel better all over!
