How can a cover up a cigarette burn on my carpet?

I live in an apartment complex(I rent) and I want my security deposit back but I noticed two cigarette burns on the carpet. How can I cover it up?

  • Go to a closet and snip a few fibers from a back corner. Get some craft glue and glue the fibers over the cigarette burns. I did this when our fireplace screen wasn't closed and piece of burning wood hit the carpet. Couldn't tell when I was finished. Don't use super glue or anything like it, these type glues dry really hard and they will know.

  • I agree with sidzwif. I have too saw were some people have a thick carpet and just have to rub up enough fibers to cover it.
