  • I don't have to give him time. He got into office saying he could fix this...and that he was the only one who could. He didn't start quantifying until AFTER he won. NOW it will take forever. AND what he has done so far is BAD, and the plans HE has laid out are worse!

  • anon 5:17 - WE don't expect things to be fixed in 1 day, but when he makes promises that they will be, THEN we expect them. He sets himself up for disaster with his sauve speaking.

  • He gave 13 extra dollars to our paychecks in the form of a tax cut of $800 to a 2 spouse working family, that won't take affect immediately, so why the rush?

Unemployed people receiving federal and state money can expect to get an additional $25 a week.

The next one is just an absolute dissapointment to me for our Seniors...A ONE TIME CHECK.
If you get Social Security and don't qualify for other aid, you'll probably be getting a one-time check for $250

First-time home buyers can get an $8,000 tax credit...THIS SHOULD MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY THAT BOUGHT NEW HOMES LAST YEAR HUH?

  • It hasn't been long enough to see any real change obviously, but I am just happy to hear a president who can SPEAK properly and is working on making some changes. I'm sure he won't be a perfect president but at least he has his eyes open wide enough to see that this country needs serious help in almost every area and he's man enough to take some chances and make some changes in the hopes of fixing as much as he can while he's in office. Thank GOD we have a new president.

  • Car buyers who make less than $125,000 ($250,000 for couples) can also get a break. Under the stimulus plan, they can deduct the sales tax on a new car purchase from their taxable income. This will apply to cars purchased the day the legislation becomes law and throughout the rest of the year...MORE RIDICULUS CREDITS....NOBODY COULD AFFORD TO BUY A NEW CAR EXCEPT THE ULTRA RICH PEOPLE, WHY DO YOU THINK THE CAR BIZ IS ON IT'S A$$

The $1,000 per child tax credit is being expanded to include lower wage earners. Now, you only have to make $3,000 to claim it......CAN YOU SAY OCTOMOM WILL QUALIFY IF SHE GETS A PARTIME JOB? THAT'LL MAKE WORK PAY WON'T IT?

If you make between $80,000 and $160,000, you'll be able to claim $2,500 per student in college tuition credits. .....OMG COLLEGE, I AM TRYING TO GET THEM THRU HIGHSCHOOL
