how likely is it to get pregnant after having a baby?

not breast feeding and no regular period yet, its also b4 my 6 week check up???
i havent taken a test cause i am not asking if i am pregnant

just wondering how many women got pregnant b4 there 6 week check up

  • Yes it can and does happen. A friend of mine got pregnant 3weeks after having a baby. The Irish twins is babies born less than 18 months apart. I'm having the second of my Irish twins in July, when the first will be 1. My sisters are 1 yr 9 days apart. If you think there is a chance have the dr do a blood pregnancy test.

  • You're very fertile right after you have a baby. That's why my husband and his brother are 10 months apart, lol.

  • That happened to my aunt! She had my cousin then went back for her 6 week check up and found out she was preggo again! I'd be scared to do it that soon! But I guess if u gotta have some then u gotta have some!

  • I've known two friends it happened to. Your body hasn't gotten its 'groove' back, not to mention that there's no telling WHEN you could be ovulating.

    Too many women just assume (incorrectly) that because they've just had a baby and/or they're breastfeeding, they can't get pregnant.
