  • I can imagine that they would... which sucks in my case because I have really bad stretch marks! They even hurt sometimes.. and I had my dd 3 years ago, and I am pregnant right now... So I guess I will let everyone know if they got worse or stayed the same!!

  • I am pretty sure mine will. I weigh the same now at 13 weeks pregnant that I did when I went in to have DD. So I'm pretty sure my stomach will be stretching a lot

  • So far, mine have not gotten worse. This is pregnancy #3. Between #1 and #2 they did get worse, but I gained more weight the 2nd time since I didn't lose all the weight from the 1st one. (they are 13 months apart)
I wish there was a way to just get rid of them!

  • No stretch marks with number 1 and a few with number 2...don't think we are going for a third, so good luck with knowing! LOL

  • I got a lot from my first and then a lot more with my second because I gained a lot more weight and she was a larger baby. But my third baby was smaller and I tried to watch my weight gain so I didn't obtain any new ones.
Don't be afraid of them - be proud - they are your medals of honor for carrying and nurturing a human life!!!

  • Hi,

I used to have pretty bad stretch marks and red scars around my belly region ever since I gave birth to my three kids.I had tried Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter which a number of people had recommended but unfortunately it didn't seem to work too well. My Doctor had even suggested that I go for a Tummy Tuck. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked really well. It took a number of weeks but my stretch marks soon faded away. You can read the lady's article at the link below.
