Does an ultrasound date from the time implantation occurs?

  • When an ultrasound issues a gestational age, I believe it includes the first day of your last period which is either further back from your conception and implanation. I'll have to look it up to see if I can find it.

  • I thought it dated from the time of implantation. isn't that when the baby acually starts growing? and most people are unaware of when their lmp was. I had a period aug. 18th but I'm not sure if it was a period or implantation bleeding....my due date is may 16th.
