My daughter is a week away from being 2 months old, and today she hasnt been able to keep down ANY food. She keeps throwing all of it up, and when she throws up, it goes like 2 feet! Idk what to do other then to call the dr. in the morning. Also, her temp is at 98.8 so she hasnt gotten a fever....idk what could be wrong.

  • My friends daughter did the same thing and she had to have surgery because the valve in her stomach hadn't completely developed, which causes the projectile vomtting. Let your doctor know.

  • Sounds like she might have the stomach bug that's going around. (not all of us had a fever when it went through our house)

Call the doctor. Meanwhile...go for 2 full hours without giving her anything. Then only let her have a couple of ounces and wait for at least 10 minutes. If that stays down give her a couple more and wait for 10. Then give about 4 (if she's taking that much) and wait for 20, etc.....

If at any point she vomits again, start over waiting for two hours. (if breastfeeding either pump or just let her nurse a couple of minutes)

The key is to let the stomach rest.....

  • I think it sounds like she might have Pyloric Stenosis. I would see her pediatrician or go to an ER right away.
