What does it mean to have a anterior placenta??

What do I need to know about this, I am 19wks and was told I have one. Will this cause any problems down the road?? Also I am having a HEALTHY BABY GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In medical terminology, anterior means in the front, and posterior means towards your back. It just means your placenta is in front of your baby. Nothing to worry about, completely normal....
