i just took my son for his pre kindergarten physical. and the doctor referred us to a specialist because she said his chest was more pronounced on one side of his back then the other. I am not sure what this means. She said that he had beginning signs of scoliosis. Could he have been leaning funny or is this a certain sign that he has scoliosis? I am confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I hope she is wrong. Scoliosis is curvature of the spine, for those who don't know. Anyone read Judy Blume's book Deenie? It was about a teen who developed this.

*hugs* Go to the specialist as soon as you can afford to. I know there's braces to correct this.
