What is a good song for my daughter?

I am creating a slide show CD of pictures for her first year. I want to present this at her first birthday and give copies to everyone. I need some ideas on the music. I listen to hard rock so I am clueless.

What are some really good songs for a daughter or a little girl?
Thanks

Soak Up the Sun by Cheryl Crow (nice happy sound)

L-O-V-E by Frank Sinatra or Joss Stone

  • I Knew I Loved You by Savage Garden. It's technically a romantic love song, but I've always thought of pregnancy when I heard it. Here's the lyrics and you can decide for yourself.

Then there's always Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N' Roses.

  • Honestly? My 10-month old has a few "favorites" of her own, the one's she start dancing to when she hears them. For example, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" makes her go crazy. If your daughter has any "favorites" I would use those, even if they don't make sense to other people.
