  • it's supposed to be a good labor inducer. You are supposed to take it orally AND vaginally to help ripen the cervix. There are natural childbirth groups on here that talk more about it.

  • It's helps to soften the cervix, NOT induce labor. It can be taken orally or vaginally.

    Actually no. It won't cause you to go into labor, just make things easier once you do. It doesn't cause you to efface or dialate. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything. I'm sorry if it came off that way.

  • People use EPO suppositories to help soften the cervix. It wont help you go into labor or anything. :) It just helps once labor has started.
