why do you need to go to church to believe in god????

i do not go to church i dont see the point in it i just fall asleep i do believe in god and jesus just not church or the bible so why do people assume you need to go to church for these reasons?

  • I don't know, I believe in god but I don't believe in organized religion. You can pray anywhere and god will answer you. I know many people who believe in god that don't go to church

  • You dont need to. Its people that feel that they need to prove something that HAVE to go to Church or whereever they go. Hypocrites...

  • The people who specifically think you have to be in church for those specific reasons are the people who are caught up in religion more.

  • yeah you dont need to go to church... To believe in God its about a relationship that you have with Jesus and that is all that matters IF your right with God dont worry about anything Else .. God bless you

  • I don't believe you HAVE to go. I believe to go to church keeps me on track in my relationship with God. It's just checking in with a group of like minded people, getting inspiration and wisdom from the preaching, being encouraged in life. My church isn't boring but some are. And I'm not a hypocrite.
