Another pregnancy precaution.

I heard that lifting your hands above your head, like reaching for something up high, can cause the cord to wrap around the babies neck. Has anyone heard that one?

  • I think the stretching would actually stretch the cord out so no I don't think this one is true : )

  • ive always been told that but my family is based on old wives tales so i cant tell you if its true or not

  • It won't cause the cord to wrap around the neck, but if it's already around the baby's neck, it can cause the cord to choke them.
