  • Nice PP! I love it! Despite all the wives tales, you cannot tell the gender of your child based off your symptoms or the way you conceived or the way you are carrying.

  • There are no signs of what sex it will be. Aside from an actual sonogram.

  • Let's see, usually it starts as first poster says, then expands to Frogs and snails and puppy-dogs' tails. Then it just gets worse from there. :)

  • Either the results of the amnio say that the genes are that of a boy or it comes out with a penis.

As good as ultrasounds are these days, they are not 100%.

  • masonsmommy...aren't lemons sour?

Anyway I had a condition called PUPPPS (a pregnancy rash) and it is most common in women who are having boys. It is a possibility that this is because the male hormones can cause an allergic reaction in some women. One study found that scrapings of the rash contained male fetal DNA. While some women do come down with the rash and end up having girls, MOST of the time this is a symptom associated with male babies. HOWEVER the rash isn't that common sooooo it's not like if you don't get the rash you're not having a boy...

  • The same as if a girl. Birth will only tell.
