How many diapers does your child go through?

So I was wondering if you guys could help me. We are ttc # 3 and I am trying to stock up on diapers before the baby comes, My youngest will be 3 in April, and she is potty trained, I cant even remember the last time I bought diapers. Let alone remember how many we went through when she was a baby....

So if you are currently using diapers could you please tell me how many you go through a week and what size they are in..otherwise please bump, I know every child is different, but I would like to have a estimate...Please leave your thoughts on what we should get more of..

Also I just wanted to say my first was 7lbs and my second was 8lbs 6 1/2 oz. when they were born, so im guessing this one will probably be about the same size as my last or bigger..

This is what we have so far:

264 sz. 1/2, 8-15lbs

144 sz. 2, 12-18lbs

416 sz. 3, 16-28lbs

268 sz. 4, 22-37lbs

  • I went/go through about a box of diapers every 2 weeks. didn't really matter the size. I know the smaller diapers come more to a box, but I guess I just changed her more often then :)

  • My 18 mo old son goes through about 6 cloth diapers a day. He wears 1 disposable at night, so approx 30 a month.

  • Do cloth. I love them! Keep the disposables that you have now and use them but start stacking up on cloth you can get one sizes which will last from about 8 lbs to 40 lbs! Id reccomend about 40 and wash them every few days. You will save a ton =) Before when we were using disposable we used about 13 a day.

  • I go through two cases (roughly 100 per case) of pampers per month. My son has been in size threes ever since he was four months old. We are getting ready to upgrade to size 4's soon. He is 8 months old and a big boy. I noticed he was in and out of newborns and size ones quickly! But went through more diapers until about two or three months old. Now we change his diapers about 8 times a day, give or take. I stocked up on wayyyy too much newborns and size ones and had to give away most of the diapers. Thankfully, I had three expectant friends.
