What would you consider to be the top 10 things a family would need if they were in need -

I am meaning - if someone were to send them a care package that didn't include foods. Or, give them a list of things to choose from; what should be in it, that they would need.
I am making a list of things for people to choose from to try and help some families. But, I am stuck on what is or isn't important because I can think of a lot of things. So, I need you help narrowing it down.

(i didn't know where to categorize this - so I put it under shopping in the answers board)

  • if there are infants - diapers and wipes. diaper rash cream and powder
small children - coats, socks, underwear, sweatshirts, and other clothes
household - trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, food storage bags, other cleaning supplies, hand soap, bath soap and shampoo

those are the major things i can think of. my household goes through tons of toilet paper and trash bags and dish soap. i mean tons. and if you have a baby you always need diapers and wipes along with diaper cream

what you are doing is amazing and the people you are helping will appreciate it even if you never get a thank you.

    i thank you.

  • Basic toiletries, if they have kids, then maybe things the kids need for school, maybe some books for kids (because honestly what kid wants to have absolutely nothing?), non-perishable foods, kerosene cooker (check out these: in case they have no electricity.

  • I have been in dire straights and could not afford toiletries, laundry products or even cheap dish soap. I would go to a food shelf and they would give 3 days worth of food but that's it!
So a care package with a variety of items listed above would be extremely appreciated!
And when donateing diapers always stick with a larger size. You can stick a little baby in a size 6 diaper easier then you can put a toddler in a newborn size, lol, just a thought.
