  • i do. my son was diagnosed with septo optic dysplasia. basically, his optic nerve (going to his left eye) is under developed causing him to be blind in his left eye only. he has normal vision in his right eye. his septo membrane covering his pituitary gland isnt there (for those who dont know-its on his brain). he is slow developmentally. he is finally (after a year in physical therapy) mostly caught up physically with kids his age. he is still in speech therapy and is doing much better. i would be happy to answer any questions you may have. PM me if i can be of any help.

  • I am a preschool special educator with 20 years experience. I have also worked with children Birth to 3. I currently work with children aged 3-5 in public, private and faith-based programs as an Itinerant special education teacher. The classrooms are integrated with children who are typically developing and children with various disibilities. Some are on the spectrum of Autism, downs syndrome, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, etc. They attend school for 3.5 hours at least 4 days a week. We use the Creative Curriculum to teach all children in a developmentally appropriate setting. They receive related services for OT, PT, speech or visual, hearing impaired services at school. Depending on what information you need, just let me know. I would be happy to help out! You can send me a personal message
