Will my birth control make me get my period again?

I haven't had a period since I've had my son 9 months ago and I quit nursing over a month ago. I started taking LoEstrin24Fe about two weeks of quitting. I'm going to start my inactive pills on Monday. Do you think this will make my period come?

  • It probably will. The hormones regulate your body so that it causes you to ovulate. It will also dry up your milk. I breastfeed and did not get my period back tell my daughter was a 13 months.

  • yes, it will. It might not be as heavy as usual, but you will still see some.
