what can i do for an infant thats sick with a cold?

  • use a humidifier, saline nasal drops and suction the nose with a bulb syringe, for a cough warm liquids help with getting the secretions up such as warm apple juice, if coughing a lot take into the bathroom and turn the hot water on to steam up the room, elevate the head of their bed, keep away from any tobacco smoke,

  • Turn on the shower really hot and let the bathroom steam up, or use a humidifier. It'll help loosen up the gunk.... Vicks baby rub worked well, too, in moderation.

  • The Dr always told me steam, saline drops, and rotating tylenol and motrin for a fever.
