  • Rice cereal in a bottle is never recommended by a doctor for a reason. Try a bedtime routine, such as a warm bath, read a book to your baby, rock in a chair while feeding bedtime bottle. Keep the babies room dark (we use a nightlight) and play soft music (Baby Einstein bedtime CD is great). Don't change wet diapers in the middle of the night. Don't talk to your baby when he/she wakes in the middle of the night, only comfort by rocking or gently patting babies back. Establish a routine and your baby will know its bedtime. Works great for us. Be consistent and dont give up. Keep trying until you find something that works for you. Good Luck!
