  • My daughter's was 4 hours and there was no nap. I think other places around the country have full time kindergarten, not sure if they take naps though.

  • None of my children are in kindergarden (we call it infants) but my 3year old will be this year. It's from 9:00am-1:00pm for me (so 5 hours).

  • my 6yo is in Kindergarten. He goes from 8:45am-3:35pm, yes they have nap / rest time after lunch.
He was in pre-school for two years prior to this. First year was twice a week 8am-10:30a, the next year was three days a week, for the same 2-1/2 hrs.

  • My daughter was in kindergarten last year. class was from 8:45am-3:00pm. They had no nap time. So she was always in a wonderful mood when she came home.

  • I teach K and we go full day, 8:05 - 2:50 and we do not have naps. We stay so busy I don't know when we would have time to take one.

  • If my son is accepted into the charter school, he will go from 8am to 3:30pm. No naps.

But my future kindergartener (starting in August) hasn't napped since he was three.

  • I teach all day K--3:15-3:30. We don't take naps, but have a 25 min. quiet time daily.

  • my sons preschools (which has the same hours of the kindergarten here) normal hours are from 8:25 am to 2:50 pm but for working parents they also offer a catapult program where u can bring ur child to early care at 7 and the teachers transfer the kids to their classes at 8 then pick them up at 250 and send them to the aftercare till 530- i dont participate in that though cause personally i think thats too much time for a 3 or 4 yr old to be stuck in school lol imo but yeah they do have naps and they feed the children breakfast lunch and afternoon snacks

  • Our schools are cheap. Half day, from roughly 9 to 12:30. (there's afternoon session as well)
