What is she thinking?

So Rihanna is taking Chris Brown back. Wow, is she really that blind that she can't see the pattern? Don't most abusive men abuse, then profusely apologize, then end up doing it again? Well let's hope not for her sake.

  • I think it is insane, especially as a role model...but nothing is wasted that can serve as a bad example. It is a perfect opportunity for mothers of young girls to talk about domestic violence, what the cycle is, and tell them you'll be there for them to come home to in a situation like that.

  • I think it's sad. She is just showing other women and teens that's it's OK to be hit.

  • People are going to say it's none of our business.

But it is b/c these people are roll models (for better or worse) and when young girls see her excusing this behavior they think it's ok.

People are going to say we don't know what happened.

But we all saw the pictures and Chris Brown even admitted to it.

She IS an idiot for taking him back!  Usually woman that stay have no self esteem, no financial way out, and/or no family support.  This girl has all 3 (well , Iguess the 1st is questionable) and should be thinking a lot longer and a lot harder on the wider implication of her decisions!

  • I doubt she is purposely choosing to show women and teens to be treated like that. Abusive relationships are not formed by two people who have thier heads on straight.

  • I didn't say she was purposely choosing, but that is what it's showing.

  • Why are singers and rappers role models? Now it's up to parents to teach their kids about these things.

  • Because they are. It takes a village. And these the days the village is HUGE and parents job in REALITY is to try an fight against the influence of these people.

  • I would think that this would be to sweep the issue under the rug quicker and without the mass of attention. After all, if she is taking him back it probably wasn't that bad, right? At least that's what we are supposed to think. Eventually they will break up for a small 'irreconsilable' reason and that will be the end of that. Who knows, maybe there is money involved by Chris Brown, to save his reputation.

  • Its a cycle. They are in the honey moon phase and she is too dumb to see through it.

It will happen again-just a matter of time.

Can anyone say "Ike and tina"???
