semi-masticated food

I haven't done this to my child, I but I have seen parents do this. but would you make your child eat something they chewed once then spit back out because their mouth was too full to chew it all up.

  • Depends on where it falls when they spit it out. LOL. No, just kidding, but sometimes my kids will pick something up that has fallen out of their mouths and put it back in. I would never force it, but hey, if they want to eat an ABC chicken nugget, its their business (as long as it isn't covered in dust bunnies, etc, LOL)

  • I wouldn't make her, but she's done it before on her own....LOL

She's 13 months, so that explains it.

  • No. It isn't necessary to do that. It sounds disgusting.

  • EW no. When my son puts too much in his mouth, he spits it out so he won't choke and starts over with a new, smaller bite.

  • I wouldn't make my kid do it, but she has done it before. She's 2 and, well, we know 2 year olds, LOL

  • No way, that's just gross. I couldn't do it because just thinking about it makes me want to puke. I'd gag if I had to watch my kid do that.
