Baby food?

I am making food for my DD. I am trying get her to taste as many veggies as possible. That being said I am making beets for her and I don't know what to add to them. I usually add unsalted butter and a dash of salt to her veggies and they go done pretty easily compared to ones I don't add to. Can I do this to beets or is there something else to add to them. By the way she is 8 mos old.

  • You shouldn't be adding butter, unsalted or not. Just giving her the veggies plain is fine. They don't need anything added. This way, she will actually get a taste for the vegetable and not the butter and salt.
