Can women make "bitch" the new "n" word??

Since racial slurs can only be used by the people of that race, How do you feel about sexist slurs being only used by women and men using them would be P.I.?

  • I think the "c" word could be portrayed as sexist. But not "bitch"

  • Nope! Considering that "bitch" is the proper name for a female dog, it will always be included in the English language...granted it's USE is often in question, but it will not be eliminated.

However, the "C" word, is something that could stand to be eradicated.

Bottom line, don't associate with those who feel they must use words such as these to communicate with women.

  • The C word may be close.
But NO word will ever hold the negative power of the N-word. It has hundreds of years of slavery, lynchings, degradation, and government sponsered violence against an entire group of people.
There are many bad words to say, but that one really is the ugliest out there

Only if it's used by a white person

  • Associating with people is not the problem. The problem is, that while its not okay to racially insult someone, to use derogatory terms when referring to women isn't seen as being insulting, as long as its not directed at you. The 'c' word is also in the dictionary and I wouldn't say that to my dog (bitch).

You obviously have not taken a Women's HIstory class have you? If you did, and can still make this comment, then you truly are a fool.
EX: But NO word will ever hold the negative power of the B-word. It has hundreds of years of slavery, beatings, degradation, rapes, and government sponsered violence (men were allowed to beat women when they tried to get their equal rights to vote, is a prime example) against an entire group of people, based on their gender.

  • Women still get the worst end of the deal. We have been victimized since the beginning of time. Untill a few years ago it was still legal in Australia to beat your wife with a stick. Ther are less women leaders in politics, big business and religion than any minority of men. Domestic violence against women is the least punished crime, while inter-racial violence is now considered a hate crime asnd has the stiffest penalties. When do we get our fair treatment?
