contractions or cramps?

So I've been doing house work pretty much all day. When I get tired I sit for a few but at this point I can't sit still. while I was vacuming I got a really sharp pain low in my uterus. could they be contractions? should I call my doc. they don't just feel like ligament pains so I'm kind of worried.

  • How far along are you? Do they feel like constipaion cramps? That's what mine felt like, so I drank a whole jar of prune juice. I was actually in labor. I crapped all over the delivery table.

  • Try timing them. With mine I would get pain in my back and my stomach would get hard. Try to change positions and see if that helps. If they are constant and don't go away with changing positions it might be true labor

  • it could be. Wit you not being full term though I would try to really hydrate yourself. Dehydration (even mild) can sometimes bring on contractions before they are ready, or they could just be really wierd and strong braxton hicks ctx. if they get closer together though I would put in a call to your doc if they get more than every 7-10 minutes.
