Doctor said that I had a small cyst on my right ovary could this be causing a fever?

I've been running a fever every afternoon just about ever since decemeber when i gave birth to my son they did discover a cyst on my right ovary.
Could this be causing the fever?
(it is low grade usually 99.2 a few times it got up to 100 highest was 100.6)

I have also been passing some white tissuse
(they did ultra sounds etc and don't see anything abnormal other then the cyst)
could a cyst also cause some kind of small white tissue to be passed?

  • I had a cyst on my ovary but I didn't run a fever, just had a lot of pain... It finally burst and the pain went away. I would talk to your Dr. let them know about the fever, theres infection somewhere and its best to get it checked out.. GL
