Is it okay to put vaseline on my 6 months cheeks? They are so dry from the cold weather.

  • Yeah, I've been putting vasoline on my DD's cheeks since day 1--they stay dry and rosy.

  • Vaseline's okay, but I would recommend something like Desitin Clear or A&D ointment. Each has ingredients to soothe chapped skin, and both can be used for other skin problems as well, from chapping to minor scrapes to diaper rash.

  • Yes it's fine, I actually use chap stick on my kid's faces. Tastes good when you give them a kiss too :)

  • YEP THAT IS OK I DO IT AS WELL, I ALSO USE IT AS A DIAPER RASH CREAM AS WELL WORKS JUST FINE

  • Chapstick is a good idea! I've been using a bit of petroleum jelly, but I'll try chapstick tonight

  • Yes, it's fine. If you have left over lanoline that works great. aquaphor works great too. Just make sure you rub it in so baby doesn't eat it. :)

  • Yes its safe but i would rather use cocoa butter or like someone else suggested coconut oil.
