  • You mean only one bedroom for both children? Let them share it.

  • I would say if it is possible a sofa couch in the living room so that way if it is needed for a guest or for you as the adult - it is there. If only one bedroom then of course the kids share and you and SO are out in the living room on a sleeper sofa couch. Bunk beds or twin beds. Also a trundle bed is good becasue the second bed can be stored during the day. I would make the room as child friendly and cheerful for each child and make sure it reflects both children. A room is a place to escape to and should be peaceful/friendly. A closet that is well organized and only hang on to what they absolutely need. No room for clutter. Toys they no longer play with go. It may be a tiny home but you can still make it cozy without being cluttered. Cluttered is not very comfortable either.
