Is it possible to get EITC and Child tax credit?

I only got one, anyone know what I have to do to get both?

  • I used to get both when I was single and making under 15,000 a year. I had two kids. I used to actually take the EIC monthly instead of at the end of the year.

  • if you make too much money you won't get the EITC, but you will get the child tax credit.

  • Do you know if i can can get the child tax credit? I only got the EITC.

  • umm....hmm. well, you can only get the child tax credit on a max of 2 kids. and if a kid is older than a certain age you can no longer get it (i think its 16, but not sure)

    other than that i am not really sure.
