  • How young is the infant? Is this daycare or home care? If its homecare will there be other housekeeping chores involved? I was paid $150 several years ago. I went to there house but was able to bring my daughter with me...........so I think it sounds fair.

  • OMG, the cost of living and pay scale must be high where you live, 85.00 to 100.00 is the going cost here, 16 years ago I paid 60.00 a week.

  • Oh it's home day care at her house and my son is 7 months old. Day care facilities goes from $330-$500/week.

  • I thought for a second there that you were working for someone and that's how much you were getting paid. I'd say that's pretty reasonable for a home day care. My friend's home day care does it for $20 per day (8 hours per day). She's a good sitter and it's hard to get your child into her program *sigh*

  • Well we do live in a big metropolitan city. The average price of a house is like $500,000 so that would be reasonable, right?
