  • 1. DO NOT use pull-ups! They are glorified diapers and delay the process.
    2. Take her on a timed schedule so that she can be successful. Don't ask her if she needs to go.
    3. Use rewards that motivate her. Get excited for her! Small rewards that lead to a bigger reward when potty training is completed.
    4. Give her something to look at while sitting if she is not wanting to stay for very long. Something she really loves, but only gets when she is sitting on the potty.
    4. Stay positive and encouraging!
    5. Good Luck!

  • my 4.5 yr old grandson just recently got potty trained, he still wears a diaper at night as he is tube fed and gets feeds at night, we found DO NOT us pull ups, once we took those away he started going on potty regularly and even I did better in reminding him seeing the underware, my daughter bought this cheap treasure chest and wrapped up cheap things like bouncy ball, can play dough, rubber bug, etc and every time he went poop on the potty he got a treasure, going in the underware didn't count.

  • Yesssss! i so agree with the pull up thing. Leave em on the shelf. how can u expect the kids not 2 go in a pull up when they feel jus like pampers.
Try, underwear.. they wont like the feeling of messing themselves, tel them they'r a BIG gurl/ boi. make them feel special whn they go:). If u can, find undies w/ their fav characters... they wont wanna get them dirty and they'll n'joy wearing them. also stop the beverages b4 bed. talk to them about not wetting the bed. Buttttt... do not force them, i heard that could make them start acting more like a baby (dnt kno how tru it is tho) But at 4, that's def not 2 early...lol, GL with this 1
