  • 9 months under our pediatrician's recommendation. They were on all table foods and eating a balanced, varied diet. There was no need for formula for their nutrition any longer, there is no history of family food allergies and they had shown no problems with other dairy products.

  • Pediatrician gave ok to start switching over around 9 or 10 months....took it slow, though.

  • For my oldest, a year. My son started on soy milk (fortified for kids) at a year because cow's milk did not agree with him. I will start my youngest on cow's milk at a year of age, unless she has an adverse reaction.

  • umm, as a beverage: long after 1 year lol. She was still nursed and ate lots of variety in foods. She still rarely drinks milk but loves it in her cereal. Shes 2.

  • I started putting a little bit in my oldest's bottle about 10 months and she was fully switched over by 11 and half months.

    My other two were breastfed and I can't even remember when I gave them cows milk to begin with. LOL

  • 5 months!!! When Nestle had that melamine issue we switched right away!! We add extra vitamins and such but we've been on whole milk for almost 3 months now and she's still growing like a weed!
