  • Wow! Your little one is crawling at 5 months? He's going in circles? Normal? Heck, no. He's early. :) I'm sure he'll be going forward within a month or two. They all practice in their own ways. My friends daughter went backwards. My son crawled on his feet and hands. But they were 9 and 7 months old. The trouble begins when they figure out how to go forwards. Hehe.

  • My DD didn't start going forward until 7 mo but she went backwards for a month. Give it some time.

  • same here, dd went backward for a month, then started going forward around 7 months. now she's a monster and can't be contained. it seems like as soon as she went forward, everything else followed quickly! enjoy the fact that he isn't too mobile yet :)

  • My son is 6 months old and doing the circle crawl too! He's figured out he can roll faster than he can crawl right now so he just rolls to get from point a to point b. He's moving backwards but still can't figure out how to go forward. He nutty in his bed, I check on him throughout the night and every other hour he's gone from one side of the bed to the other in precarious positions!
