i stoped bleeding 2 weeks after having my baby and i wanted to know when did you get ur period after bleeding?

  • Are you breastfeeding? If you breastfeed it may take longer for it to come back.

  • I was 10 weeks postpartum. Something like 30% of women still haven't gotten a first period at 12 weeks. I couldn't breastfeed though, I didn't produce, so I was no longer lactating by about 8 weeks.

  • no am not breastfeeding. i am wondering because i want to get an IUD and i heard you have to get my period 1st in order to get this.

  • i got mine after having my daughter, Jasmine, after 4 months i gave birth to her! AND I DID NOT BREASTFEED!!!!

  • with my first I bled for 5 weeks got done then started my period a week later. My second I bled for 4 weeks I didn't start my period for a month after I stopped bleeding

  • With my first child (born normally) I started 2 months later, my second after C-Section it was 6 months and didnt breastfeed with either.

  • You can ask at your 6 week checkup. Breastfeeding moms w/ no period can still get an IUD. I nursed and didn't get a period back until 13 months postpartum!
