What does it mean to be "white?" Can someone please define "white?"

  • It means about the same thing as a person being Black. They are really just brown.
    And I as a "white" person am more a light tan. Not realy WHITE per say.

    Is that what you mean?

  • Actually, I'm kinda peachy-yellow and in the summer I turn a golden brown.

  • It means i'm a cracka.Also means I (as all other whites) should be taxed to death for reperations to the blacks.Eventhough not one black alive today was even a slave and not one white alive today a slave owner.Oh and all the blacks with any success should be as well except for our President.

  • Well, for me it means the I have "lilly white" skin that never tanned! Uugghhh...it was so hard to "look cool" in a swimsuit when your skin is glaring white!

    Interesting though, I am mostly of English/German descent; but I have a great great grandmother that was full blood Cherokee Indian.

    I think for the most part there is no true "white" here in the U.S. anymore. Ditto for "black". Just look at the president. The color of his skin would be "black", but he is both white and black in his descent.

    I am not going to delve into where I think you are going. However, I will make popcorn and watch what developes.
