Pregnancy after miscarriage...

I had a miscarriage over 2 weeks ago and I was wondering if anyone got pregnant shortly after a miscarriage or when is the best time to TTC again?

  • I am a woman who had a miscarriage as her first pregnancy and a successful second pregnancy. I am unsure of how quickly you "can" become pregnant again after a miscarriage, but my doctor told me it was best if I waited until I had 2 regular cycles again before trying. This was to make sure my body went back to functioning normally again, and to make sure it wasn't a bigger problem than originally thought to be. I would not recommend getting pregnant immediately after a miscarriage, your body needs time your heart needs time and soul need time to recover the loss.

I am sorry for your loss.

  • I had a couple friends get pregnant soon after a miscarriage... like within a week or 2

  • My doctor said I could go ahead and try after my next period (although we decided to wait). Lots of people do get pregnant again right away afterward.

  • my body never had a chance to get back to normal, so infact my last menstrual cycle was in July..unless you count the bleeding (mc) in September
