do monkeys burp their babies?

just wondering if monkeys have to burp their babies like humans. yes i know its a stupid question but i know other mamals dont do it so i was just wondering if monkeys do.

  • I don't think they do because monkey babies are up and moving around so they can burp themselves.

  • I agree with kboney, I think the movement allows the gas to dislodge therefore they essentially burp themselves

  • No, they don't. I agree with the other answers about their movement causing them to burp themselves. I wonder about the spitup, though. I mean, I imagine they spitup like any other baby does. Does the baby monkey lick it up or does the mommy monkey clean (lick) it up so their prey won't smell it?
