  • Seems like constantly. My lil guy is always hungry. I give him healthy cookies and snacks throughout the day and then three meals as well. If he doesn't want to eat I simply don't force him. He is breastfed on top of eating big boy foods.

  • She really only eats 3 times a day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sometimes she has snacks in between, but not always. She isn't on formula, but she does have a bottle or sippy cup of milk in the morning before breakfast.

  • Mine ate at breakfast, lunch and supper. They also (at that age) had a mid-morning snack, mid-afternoon snack and a small snack about 1 1/2 hours before bedtime.

They were on all table foods and milk by that time, though...

  • Always. breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, snack, dinner, maybe a snack.

Now that she's closer to two, she's lost one of her snacks before dinner but still eats A LOT!

  • We have pretty much had the same schedule since 4 months old. It just grew to an actual meal instead of just the breast or bottle.

Anyways, my son has a cup of milk when he wakes up, breakfast at 9:30, lunch at 12:30, snack at 3:30 and dinner at 6:30. each meal he gets either rice milk (he is allergic to milk) or water/juice.

This routine I think has been really beneficial for us as he doesn't ask for food any other time of the day or graze just because someone else is eating, etc.

  • I feed my 1 year old Daughter breakfast around 8-9am usually a 1/2 banana,scrambled eggs (2) and a ceral bar,4oz. of whole milk.
Lunch around 11-12noon she gets a ppj or a little kid meal (graduates) 4oz water/Milk
Snack after nap- little puffs, 1/2 banana or diced peaches. Water to drink
Dinner is around 6-7pm She normally eats what we are eating cut up very small. If she is not into what we have I feed her mac and cheese meal or something like the Graduates meals, fruit and 4oz milk.(she also eats a ton of veggies different kind each night.)
She gets an 8oz. bottle of whole milk around 9pm. every night.
(soon it's going in a sippy though. no more bottles!)
It really depends on the day how much she will eat,but I was told by many doctor/friends with kids to keep a large variety of food around them so they will eat everything!

  • My 16 month old eats what we eat with us at breakfast, lunch and dinner. And has some fruit during the day. She also nurses occasionally during the day.
