I've made goulash--1 lbs. of ground beef, 1 can of tomato soup, diced onions, 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of water, some ketchup, some macaroni shaped noodles. Brown the beef, drain, put in the rest, let it boil, then turn the heat down to medium-low, simmer for 10 minutes.
If all you have is a can of tomato soup, I have added croutons or cheese to the soup. Grilled Cheese and tomato soup also go together well here.
