Medicine question

My 3 month old threw up her medicine... Or at least some of it. Do I need to give her more? It's for a UTI and kidney infection.

  • You could probably call the Pharmacist

  • What did the doctor say when you called and told them what happened?

  • No. You have no way of knowing how much she took in. If you give her another full dose it could be too much. I am assuming this is an antibiotic. Those take a while to work anyway so even if she missed most of one dose it wouldn't hurt her.

  • Nope. You wait until time for the next dose. NEVER give another does even if you know not all of it went down or stayed down. You have no way of knowing how much she's missed from it.
