Has anyone ever bought the Papaya fruit baby food by Nature's Goodness? If so I need to know something!

I bought a can at Wal-Mart and when I smelled it, it smelled rotten and foul. Not very strong, but noticeable for sure. Is it suppose to smell like that? I don't know what real Papaya even smells like. The date was good, it just smelled bad so I didn't feed it.

  • when in doubt, throw it out. go here for info on how to cut and prepare fresh papaya. Just blend it in a blender for baby!

  • Papaya can have a bit a of a puke like smell, get a fresh papaya if you can and see if the jarred stuff smells the same as a fresh one.
