Lactating at 33wks?

is that possible? i just got done eating and noticed my right nipple had clear liquid coming out of just stopped...but idk what it is?

  • it is normal, your body is getting ready for the baby. all the hormones that needs to happen are starting.

  • i started at 25 weeks with this pregnancy, it's been a bit annoying but normal.

  • it's called calastrum i'm pretty sure i spelled that wrong but i'm only 20 weeks and i started lactating at about 16 weeks maybe sooner you can lactate whenever it's not bad... and you won't run out before the baby gets here and the colors can change from clear to a yellowish color

  • It's colostrum, some people start lactating early and others don't start until closer to the end. There's nothing to be worried about.

  • a nurse once told me that a pregnant woman's body is all ready for breastfeeding at 16 weeks. so no, it's not too early.
