  • ironically i just read in SELF magazine today that if you burn 150-300cal. a day(in a workout) and maintain a healthy/balanced diet, you should lose one pound a week..

  • It all depends on how many calories you are eating in a day. You have to burn more calories in a day than you consume. A healthy weight loss is .5-2 lbs a week.

  • you may lose none. Your body requires complex carbohydrates as well as protein to function properly. Starving your body of any essential element only causes your system to go into suvival mode and it stops burning anything.

  • 3500 calories for a pound of body weight. either work it off or eat less to lose. eat that much and gain a pound! Divide by 7 (days in a week) and that is 500 calories a day to gain/ lose. a typical average woman uses about 200 calories a day just doing chores. less if you are less active. do the math.

  • The Goverment used to say 30 mins but now they say 30 mins just maintain your weight and anything over 30 is weight loss.

  • No one can tell you how much weight you will lose, it all depends on what your eating and your body....everyone loses weight differently. Exercizing alone won't make you lose weight, you also have to eat right and drink alot of water.
